New Directions

ADAC’s New Directions program offers assistance to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander offenders to prepare and re-join their community after a prison sentence.

We can offer support with;

  • Legal/court appearances/community corrections

  • Fines enforcement & reduction in fines as an approved treatment provider

  • Medical (support with appointments and accessing your medication)

  • Housing options

  • Well-being

  • Financial (banking, centrelink, budgeting)

  • Reconnect to country, community & culture.

  • Education & employment

  • Alcohol & other Drug Counselling

We can also link you in with other local Government and non-Government organisations.

We want to assist you in your journey to make positive changes in your life, that will help to reduce the risk of offending.
