About ADAC

The Aboriginal Drug and Alcohol Council (SA)Aboriginal Corporation was founded in 1993 as a direct result of the Royal Commission into Aboriginal Deaths in Custody (RCIADIC).

The Aboriginal Drug and Alcohol Council was established through the January 1992, ATSIC Zone conference and the following Camp Coorong state wide Substance Abuse Conference which looked at ways to implement the Royal Commission into Aboriginal deaths in custody recommendations relating to Substance Abuse.
